So easy to figure out, there's plenty of machines, and they have free washing powder! Such a nice touch. The owner was there while I was doing my washing and he was so friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Lovely staff, brilliant coffee and easy-to-use machines that get your laundry done to a high standard in quick time. A really good spot to get your work done when you need to catch up on laundry!

Ken is a fantastic owner. He’s approachable, respectful, and always willing to help. The laundromat is clean, machines work perfectly, and the service is excellent. A great place to do your laundry!

When we first got to Melbourne we ended up homeless and struggling. This was the first laundry place we found and sadly didn't have a card or coins to use the machines. After calling management and explaining we didn't have a way to pay to use the machines he ended up turning them on for us anyways to wash our clothes. Without his help we would have been walking around with all our dirty clothes on our backs. This all happened overa year ago. Now thankfully we have a home and our own washing machines but I seen this place today and just wanted to let everyone know how great and understanding they were and also let them know how grateful we are. Thanks guys ! You really made a horrible time that but easier for us.

Great&cosy place, with super affordable prices. It's so easy to make your laundry and the place is always clean. The staff were also very caring, friendly and cool. – The café in it makes it even better, too (: – Definitely recommend!

Look, I’m not someone who hands out praise. If I’m taking the time to write a review, it’s usually because I want to warn people away from a poorly run business. So when I say that The Soap Spot Laundrette is genuinely worth your time, understand that it's a shocking deviation from the norm. I even own a washing machine, but I decided to 'test the water' here on two separate occasions, and both visits were flawless. I needed to see if the hype was real, or if the first trip was a fluke. It wasn't. The facility itself is clean, bright, and incredibly well-maintained. Compared to some of the glorified rubbish tips I've seen masquerading as laundromats—especially the grimy ones in places like Footscray—this place is on a different planet. The washing machines and dryers were in perfect working order, clean, and tidy. I mean this literally: they were so clean you could eat off them. That level of dedication to hygiene in a public space is the absolute minimum, yet almost impossible to find. The small cafe at the front is a pleasing touch, giving you somewhere to wait without staring into a dryer drum. While the cafe staff have nothing to do with the laundry side of things, they were friendly and helpful. And for the most important part: I left with every single item I brought in. None of my clothes went missing. If you are stuck needing a laundrette, or even if you have one but want an actually pleasant experience, stop debating and come here. This is not just a choice; it is the perfect choice

Super clean, open 7 days a week, and in a really convenient spot in. The cafe makes waiting so much more enjoyable; tables and chairs available if you need any work done. Machines are modern and well taken care of, and the payment system works perfectly every time. Highly recommend!

The best laundromat I've ever been to. This place is amazing: big machines that are easy to use, free washing powder, great tunes, plenty of seating (including outdoors), and a toilet for customers! If you're here just to get all your washing done, you can complete a full wash and dry in about an hour. How will you pass the time, besides scrolling on your phone? There's an amazing little coffee outlet inside the laundrette! They're not always open when Soap Spot is, but when they are, you can get freshly brewed coffees and other drinks, pizzas, toasties and a few desserts. This place is brilliant. If you're in the area, high recommend it.

This is a marvellous place. It provides awesome laundry facilities. Owners are friendly and take care of their customers. Moreover, idea of Soap cafe is amazing. One can do laundry and use the place for work while enjoying a yummy coffee.
